Baroda, 11 November 2022: Huntsman Textile Effects, the global leader in innovative and environmentally sustainable dyes, chemicals and digital inks, will lead the launch of the ‘Smart School’ initiative at three government primary schools in Padra Taluka. Over 800 students and teachers will have access to digital learning and tools with the technology-enabled classrooms.

The three schools under the ‘Smart School’ initiative are: Lakhadi Kui Primary School, M.B. Thakkar Primary Kumar Shala No.3 and Nana Aekal Bara Primary School. Classrooms will be technology-enabled with interactive flat panels, wireless keyboards and mouse, and an operating system with Intel Pentium i5 Processor and SMART Notebook collaborative learning software.

As an extension of this initiative, a training program is in place to enhance the skillsets of the teachers, and to help them deliver classroom content that is interactive and fun.
